Effective Date: [June 22, 2026] Last Updated: [August 11, 2026]
This Privacy Policy explains how Vanguardlabs ("we," "us," or "our"), which operates the website located at reviews.vanguardlabs.co (the "Site") and related review and reputation-management services (the "Services"), collects, uses, shares, and protects information about you. We are based in the Las Vegas, Nevada area and are committed to protecting your privacy.
By using the Site or Services, you agree to the practices described in this Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site or Services.
1. Who We Are and What We Do
We provide review-collection and reputation-management services on behalf of local businesses (our "Business Clients"). This means we may invite you to leave a review after you've interacted with one of our Business Clients, collect the feedback you choose to share, and help display or route that feedback to public review platforms.
When we act on behalf of a Business Client, that business may also be handling your information under its own privacy policy. This Policy covers our practices; it does not govern how our Business Clients independently use your information.
2. Information We Collect
a. Information You Provide Directly
Contact details — such as your name, email address, and phone number.
Review content — the star ratings, written feedback, comments, photos, or other content you submit.
Communications — messages you send us or our Business Clients, including support requests and replies to our messages.
b. Information Collected Automatically
When you visit the Site, we may automatically collect:
Device and technical data — IP address, browser type, operating system, and device identifiers.
Usage data — pages viewed, links clicked, time spent, and referring URLs.
Cookies and similar technologies — see Section 6 below.
c. Information From Third Parties
From our Business Clients — a business may share your contact information with us (for example, after you've made a purchase or completed a service) so that we can send you a review request on their behalf.
From review and social platforms — if you interact with a review through a third-party platform (such as Google, Facebook, or Yelp), we may receive limited information consistent with that platform's terms.
3. How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect to:
Send you review invitations and follow-up reminders on behalf of our Business Clients;
Collect, process, and display customer feedback and ratings;
Route positive feedback to public review platforms and internal feedback to the relevant business;
Respond to your questions, requests, and support needs;
Operate, maintain, secure, and improve the Site and Services;
Detect, prevent, and address fraud, abuse, spam, or technical issues;
Comply with legal obligations and enforce our terms.
4. Text Messages and Communications
If you provide your phone number, you may receive SMS/text messages and/or emails from us or on behalf of a Business Client — for example, a request to leave a review or a follow-up reminder.
Consent: We send text messages only where we have a lawful basis or your consent to do so, consistent with applicable law.
Frequency: Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply.
Opting out: You can opt out of text messages at any time by replying STOP to any message. Reply HELP for assistance. You may unsubscribe from emails using the "unsubscribe" link in any email.
No condition of purchase: Consent to receive marketing messages is not a condition of purchasing any goods or services.
Mobile phone numbers and consent information are not shared with third parties or affiliates for their own marketing purposes, except for service providers that help us deliver these messages on our behalf.
5. How We Share Your Information
We do not sell your personal information for money. We may share information as follows:
With the Business Client you interacted with, so they can view and respond to your feedback.
With service providers who perform functions on our behalf — such as messaging platforms, hosting, analytics, and customer-support tools — under agreements that limit their use of your information.
With public review platforms (e.g., Google, Facebook, Yelp) when you choose to post a public review through a link we provide. Content you post publicly is governed by that platform's terms and privacy policy.
For legal reasons — to comply with the law, respond to lawful requests, protect our rights, or protect the safety of any person.
In a business transfer — in connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of assets, subject to this Policy.
6. Cookies and Tracking Technologies
We and our providers use cookies, web beacons, and similar technologies to operate the Site, remember your preferences, analyze traffic, and measure performance. You can usually control cookies through your browser settings; disabling them may affect how the Site functions.
We may use third-party analytics services (such as Google Analytics) that collect usage information to help us understand and improve the Site.
7. Data Retention
We keep personal information only as long as needed for the purposes described in this Policy — including providing the Services, meeting legal obligations, resolving disputes, and enforcing agreements — after which we delete or de-identify it. Publicly posted reviews may remain on third-party platforms indefinitely, as those platforms control that content.
8. Data Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect your information. However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
9. Your Privacy Rights
Nevada Residents
Under Nevada law (NRS 603A, as amended by SB 220), Nevada consumers have the right to submit a verified request directing us not to sell certain "covered information" that we have collected or will collect about them. Although we do not sell your covered information as defined by Nevada law, you may still submit such a request by contacting us using the details in Section 13.
Other Rights
Depending on where you live and applicable law, you may also have the right to:
Access the personal information we hold about you;
Request correction of inaccurate information;
Request deletion of your information;
Opt out of marketing communications.
To exercise any of these rights, contact us using the information in Section 13. We may need to verify your identity before responding, and we will respond within the timeframe required by applicable law. If you are a resident of a state with a comprehensive privacy law (such as California), additional rights may apply.
10. Third-Party Links
The Site may contain links to third-party websites and platforms, including public review sites. We are not responsible for the privacy practices or content of those third parties. We encourage you to review their privacy policies.
11. Children's Privacy
The Site and Services are not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age required in your jurisdiction), and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has provided us information, please contact us and we will take appropriate steps to delete it.
12. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last Updated" date above and, where appropriate, provide additional notice. Your continued use of the Site or Services after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Policy.
